Pompeii Ruins – 2-Hour Guided Exploration

The tour begins with a step back in time: a guided visit to the archaeological site of Pompeii, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A professional archaeologist will lead you through temples, shops, villas, theaters, and bathhouses, sharing insights into everyday life in the ancient Roman city. Before entering, there is a short stop at a cameo workshop, where you can admire the traditional art of shell carving and use the restrooms.

In the early afternoon, the tour continues to one of Europe’s most iconic volcanoes. Once at 1000 meters of altitude, you can choose between two scenic hiking trails:
Crater Trail: a panoramic walk to the summit with breathtaking views over the Bay of Naples.
Valley of Hell: a more adventurous path through lava flows, lava caves, and unique geological formations.
Both trails are guided and suitable for travelers in good physical condition. Expert guides from the Vesuvius National Park will enhance the experience with fascinating insights into the area's geological and historical background.

CANCELLATION – The customer can cancel the tour (free of charge) up to 12 hours before the booked service, after this deadline no refund will be allowed. Within 12 hours before the tour departure the customer can also ask for an amendment of her/his booking (changes are related to: meeting point, tour typology, number of participants, tour date, and so on).
The tour operator deserves the right to cancel the tour if the minimum number of participants has not been reached.
With reference to the tours including entrance fees (such as all tours including the visit of Pompeii, Herculaneum, Mt. Vesuvius), these ones must be purchased in advance and in case of cancellation they would be not refunded.
NO SHOW – For all our tours it will be highly appreciated to show up at the agreed meeting place at least 10 minutes before the tour departure. In each meeting point our tour leader will wait only for 10 minutes, after this deadline the booking is considered as a customer no-show and no refund will be deserved.
In any case of delay, the customer must contact the emergency number +390817673273 and our customer service will help the customer to arrange a new pickup, if it will be possible.
LIABILITY – The tour operator is not liable for any loss of personal belongings. If the client has a train or a flight or a ship booked on the same day of the tour, it would be suggested to inform the tour operator to better manage the situation even if for all group tours the timetable cannot be subject to modifications. The tour operator is not responsible if customers miss a train, a flight or a ship. Given the scheduled time-sheet customers should be aware about the real possibility to enjoy the tour they booked for.
